Summary

Tamara is passionate about holistic education in open space environments that promote social, emotional and mental growth for children. She has over 20 years of experience working on educational and developmental projects dealing with children, parents, colleagues and professionals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Tamara is a mother of 10-year-old twins, and a certified Yoga teacher.

Career History

Tamara is the Head of the Communication Department at Mashrek International School, an International Baccalaureate school for students from kindergarten to Grade 12. She handles and develops all forms of communication within the school and with the larger community in the most efficient, creative and effective manner.

Prior to that, she was a consultant in the UAE to government entities such as the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, the Crown Prince’s Court, twofour54 media zone, and Flash Entertainment, working on educational and cultural projects such as the Abu Dhabi Science Festival, the National Day Celebration, the Mother of the Nation Festival, and the Abu Dhabi Film Festival.

Tamara managed the Administration and Admissions Departments at Mashrek International School in Amman for eight years, contributing to its growth from 300 to 1900 students. She played a key role in the accreditation process of the International Baccalaureate Programmes. She also founded the Universities Advising Center as well as the Creativity, Action, Community and Service Programmes.

Tamara worked closely, as an Administrative Assistant, with His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan Bin Talal of Jordan who is involved in several organizations, such as the International Crisis Group, Forum 2000, United Nations Higher Commissioner for Refugees, World Conference for Religion and Peace, Club of Rome, Arab Thought Forum and The Higher Council for Science and Technology.

Tamara was an active member at the Young Presidents Organization and the Young Entrepreneur Association till 2010.
