Shaden’s professional experience spans 20 years in the field of equity analysis at the Social Security Investment Fund (SSIF), the investment arm of the Social Security Corporation (SSC). She has been serving as the Head of Private Equity (PE) Portfolio Management since 2019.
Career History
In her current role, Shaden works closely with the management team of the PE portfolio companies and is in constant contact with the companies’ Board of Directors (BoD) representing the SSC, monitoring and improving the performance of the PE portfolio companies based on extensive financial analysis and due diligence. Her recommendations are addressed to the companies with an ultimate goal of value maximization.
Shaden joined the SSIF team as an equity analyst 20 years ago. She then became the Head of Public Equity Portfolio Management for nine years. Her job entailed monitoring, analyzing, and conducting research for existing equity holdings, while seeking new investment opportunities within specific mandates.
In 2016, she served as the SSC representative at the Jordan Commercial Bank’s BoD. In a unique gesture to promote the role and position of women in society and emphasize their ability to occupy leading positions efficiently, she was appointed as the Bank’s General Manager on International Women's Day in 2018. Shaden is the SSC representative on Capital Bank’s BoD and is also a member of the bank’s Risk Committee and Audit Committee.
Shaden earned her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification in 2010 and has subsequently delivered CFA Level 1 lectures at accredited training centers in Jordan and Palestine
