Summary

Raghad Al-Shareedah is a well-trusted and dedicated leader at the Companies Control Department (CCD) in Jordan, offering more than 15 years of solid experience in all issues governing companies in terms of their legal and financial compliance to local laws and regulations. She has a strongly developed sense of competence, persistence, and passion.

Career History

Currently, Raghad is the Acting Head of Foreign, Non-Profit, and Offshore Companies Division at the CCD and the Commissioner of the Controller at the Ministry of Investment. Under her leadership, she contributed to the increase in the number of companies registered at the division across the kingdom.

Previously, Raghad was the Acting Head of the Formation of Committees Division at CCD for more than two years. One of her major accomplishments was working with her colleagues in the CCD to issue a guidebook that highlighted the responsibilities of the committees formed for different purposes and that addressed other issues pertaining to the Companies Law.

Raghad also volunteered with a number of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), working with the youth in capacity building programs such as interculturalism. She participated in various capacity building activities in Denmark, Egypt and at multiple global conferences, including one for the NATO in Brussels.

Raghad is a member of a number of committees formed between the CCD and the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Unit in Jordan to tackle issues pertaining to money laundering and terrorist financing. Raghad is also a liaison officer to cooperate with the division of Arab League States within the Department of Arab and Middle Eastern Affairs.
