Nourah Mehyar

The CEO of Nafith Logistics, an IFC investee, which employs over 450 multinationals, operating a unique Trade and Transport Facilitation network. Nafith Logistics in Jordan operates multiple national contracts covering 90% of Jordan’s truck freight and has recently opened a factory to manufacture patented container eSeals.  The company in Iraq operates a BOT contract in the Ports of Basra, with the goal of substantially improving transportation and logistics efficiency.. In Oman, the company has recently started setting up a pioneering system across all of the logistics industrial hubs of the Sultanate.

Nourah is also an active investor in several other SME’s in Jordan. In 2016, she became the first recipient of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) Gender CEO Award for her work in integrating women into a male-dominated workforce in an area where gender parity is close to non-existent. In 2017, she was selected to be part of a 13-member commission in the LSE-Oxford Commission on State Fragility, Growth and Development, headed by former PM David Cameron and Professor Paul Collier.

Nourah earned a BSc degree in Information Technology from the University of Jordan, and a Master’s Degree in Enterprise Management from Durham Business School. She is a certified Professional from Project Management Institute.
