Mayse Nababteh

Summary
Mayse is the Head of International Fundraising & Development Department at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF). Since joining KHCF in 2007, Mayse has enriched her experience across the organization in a wide scope of positions ranging from fundraising, patient and refugee support, youth engagement, advocacy efforts, corporate relations, public health awareness and international development management.
Career History
As one of its earliest personnel, Mayse has been part of KHCF’s growth to become one of the leading institutions in fighting cancer locally and globally.
In her capacity within KHCF’s managerial team, Mayse has contributed to its strategic direction, business planning and its implementation, generating millions and advocating in support of its mission. Mayse’s role contributed in positioning KHCF within the local and international arena to what it is today, saving thousands of lives and changing mindsets and taboos within the community and establishing one of the first institutionalized volunteer programs in Jordan.
Prior to that, Mayse had extensive managerial experience within the private corporate sector at ARAMEX International where she served as a Corporate Customer Service Manager. This experience provided her with a business mindset within the nonprofit sector.
Mayse received two international academic scholarships and holds an MA in International Relations and a degree from the London School of Economics (LSE) as a Hansard Society/Chevening research scholar specializing in British public policy
Following her passion towards changing the lives of others, Mayse was certified as a Dale Carnegie Trainer providing training to individuals and corporates in the field of Communication.
Mayse is a passionate believer and a full-time advocate of change. She believes in each person’s individual responsibility towards making the world a better place and is an avid volunteer and advisory board member in areas that support education and the development of youth, supporting local non-profit organizations.
