With more than 26 years of experience in the financial inclusion field, Lama is responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of the Microfund for Women “MFW”, its organizational growth and the profitability agenda. Lama’s responsibility also extends to the effective management of the enterprise in fulfilment of the declared objectives and within the framework of the MFW’s board policy.
During her career, Lama managed to lead and implement continuous improvements in business processes, leveraging digital transformation, and ensuring delivery of customer centric services. With her strong accountability and commitment for developing new business opportunities and sustaining valuable relationships with donors, central bank, private and public sector stakeholders to ensure MFW’s continuous expansion and business growth.
Results-oriented, decisive leader with proven success in new market identification and strategic positioning in different fields. Track record of increasing sales and growing bottom line while spearheading operational improvements to drive productivity and costs.
Supporting her current position as a Deputy General Manager of the Microfund for Women, Lama is a working member at the Business Professional Women in Jordan, a board member at TANMEYA; the Jordanian Microfinance Network and a Board member at "Hulool" Mobile payment financial solutions company. Advisory board member at Al-Nashmeyah Arms and at Digital Payment Services (DPS). She holds a B.Sc. in Advanced Accounting and Financing and has several certificates in risk management, strategic leadership and microfinancing.
