Fikra

(Arabic for “idea”)

Fikra is a  50+ hours program that walks the participants through detailed steps that would enable them to validate ideas and turn them into businesses. Selected participants could join with ready ideas or they can benefit from an Idea Bank that Arcan will provide them with. The idea bank will include ideas in the tourism, technology and food processing sectors. 

The program covers areas such as market research, developing and testing an MPV (Minimum Viable Product), basic financial planning, basic business planning, networking, work-life balance, introduction to digital business tools, etc. 

Each cohort will consist of 30 women. Program graduates will receive mentorship from women who have previously participated in and benefited in other Arcan programs.

Target beneficiaries: Women who are looking to start a micro business 

Capacity and frequency: 30 women, once a year 

Duration: 53 hours over a 6-week period from 29-1-2023 to 07/03/2023
