Fikra

(Arabic for “idea”)

Fikra is a program designed to empower women to create their own careers by guiding them in turning their ideas into operational businesses through 50+ hours capacity capacity-building sessions. Selected participants can join with ready ideas or they can benefit from an Idea Bank that Arcan will provide them with.

The program sessions cover areas such as idea validation through market/ user research, basic financial planning, basic business planning, networking, introduction to digital business tools, and more.

Program graduates will receive mentorship from women who have previously participated in and benefited from other Arcan programs.

Program Details

Target beneficiaries: Women who are looking to start a business.  

Capacity: 30 women.

Duration: 50+ hours over a 4-week period.
