Caroline Haddad
Caroline Haddad is an Enterprise Development Specialist and an experienced Deputy Chief of Party with 20 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including nine years in senior management positions with USAID projects. Her current role as Blumont Jordan’s Country Director where she oversees current programming and new business outreach. Haddad is a noted MSME development and competitiveness expert with experience in economic and export development, and private sector employment in Jordan.
Caroline has worked in development for more than 20 years with extensive experience as a program manager and expertise in micro, small, and medium- size enterprise development and competitiveness. Caroline is also experienced in supporting the formulation of policy, strategies, and programs to accelerate private sector development and public - private partnerships.
Haddad earned her B.Sc. Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Jordan. Her local and regional experience presents a well-rounded portfolio of Micro, Small and Medium Size Enterprise (MSME) development and competitiveness. She worked in service delivery, medical tourism, tourism and hospitality, ICT, municipal governance, handicrafts, and food processing. Haddad also directed business associations and NGOs to achieve self-sustainability working with entities such as Al Jidara Investment services, The USAID –Jordan Competitiveness Program (JCP), The USAID- Jordan Economic Development Program (SABEQ), The USAID- Jordan Tourism Development Project Siyaha, and The USAID-United-States Business Partnership (JUSBP).
She supported different private sector employment initiatives, especially for youth, and established performance indicators and realistic targets to meet objectives in the field of SMEs.
