Amani Abu Hilal

Amani Abu Hilal earned her Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Jordan in 1991 and since then has worked hard to become recognized as a healthcare professional with over twenty-nine years of experience in general pharmaceuticals and consumer healthcare sectors   with specialty in    executive   leadership, business management, strategy and marketing across the MENA region.

She joined Pharmacy One’s team in 2006 as a senior VP for Corporate Affairs and Communications and has directed efforts related to marketing, merchandising, strategic planning, ERP solutions and corporate communications.

Throughout her work with Pharmacy One, Abu Hilal has been bolstering the company’s ambitious expansion plan by developing corporate strategic direction as well as innovative marketing and customer service programs to ensure continued success. She played a considerable role in shaping the company’s market strategy while maintaining an impeccable reputation in the market as the leading provider of quality pharmaceutical products and services. Digitization of retail pharmaceutical services, automation of relationships with insurance companies were part of the projects led and spear headed by Amani during her time with Pharmacy 1 with long term cooperation with both the local Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Communications.

During the years of 2007 and 2009, Abu Hilal also served as the Managing Director for Pharmacy One in Saudi Arabia, directing the company’s overall operational functions in the country.

Abu Hilal’s extensive contributions have resulted in substantial sales volume turnover of around $85million annually as well as number of organizational achievements, including Pharmacy One’s consumer -centric direction, attainment of the ISO certification attainment and also reaching the finalist stage of the Jordan 25 Fast Growth Index, which is part of the Arabia Fast Growth 500 Index.

In 2019 Abu Hilal joined MS Pharma team to establish and head the Consumer Division in line with global trends in the industry. Her well-rounded expertise is the culmination of more than ten years of working with two of the largest American multinational pharmaceuticals, “Eli Lilly & Co.” and “Merck & Co.”
